Halloween 2008

My Spunky Pirate and my Bashful Old Lady. The firrst picture, they are out in our yard before heading out trick or treating. The other 2 are pictures of both Grama's giving goodies.
They LOVE their Gramas!

Every year my parents come over when we are carving pumpkins.
We have some Carmel apples and hot chocolate. My Mom gets into this pumpkin carving so much more with her Grand kids then she did with us kids. Must be because the mess is at my house now!

Soccer

Leave it to me to wait until the last soccer game to take pictures. As you can see by the hats, mittens, and jackets, it was a cold morning. This was Erika's first season, but she played like she had been there before. She was very competitive. She kept score and let the other team know when they were winning. She actually made several goals this season. You can sure tell she has a sister who takes the time to teach her what she knows. Julia still plays and it is still her favorite sport.

Summer Fun

Julia played ball again this summer. She is really turning out to be a good ball player. The other 2 pics are of the girls in the Hills. Chris played State ball out there. We took a few extra days and stayed at a great campground by Mt. Rushmore before heading into Rapid for the weekend of ball. Fun time was had by all.

Our Angels

Grandma and Erika looking at all the Flowers that Grandpa takes so much pride in.
As you can see, Julia and Erika sure smile alot. It makes me feel good, like Chris and I must be doing something right.

Zoo

I got the oppurtunity to join Erika and her class on a fieldtrip to the Zoo in Watertown on May 16. We were blessed with a sunny warm day. We had been rained out a couple of weeks prior from the Zoo and from the farm fieldtrips, so this was really great. The goats you see were JUST born when we got there. Still icky and everything! It is so fun to see your children with their school friends. Shows you just how fast they are growing up.

Home Improvment

Well, Another Home Improvement Project complete at the Hendrickson house. You would think that we would run out of things to remodel at some point. I do think the 'honey-do' list is shrinking, although I am not sure that Chris agrees with me. The girls seem to enjoy helping out. We always have to make sure that we find something that they can help with. That way, they too can take pride in what we accomplish together.

Preschool Graduation

May 20, Erika Graduated from Preschool. She sang really loud and smiled from ear to ear the entire time. She was so proud of herself. The picture at the top is Erika with the Preschool director, Gloria, who played a big role in both Erika and Julia's preschool days.
